WINE

“To be consumed in admiration”

By the seventh century B.C, specially selected wines had been established by the Greeks and were then taken over by the Romans. Throughout the following centuries, numerous kings rated this range of wines very highly – from Charlemagne to Saint-Louis, Philippe le Bel, François I and Henry IV, to name but a few!

Today, wine-growing remains one of the main economic activities in the Rhône valley area of the Gard.

Generous wind, rain and sunshine are exceptional advantages here for producing authentic wines.
